  • AN ACT Relating to increasing legislative involvement in gubernatorial proclamations relating to a state of emergency; amending RCW 43.06.210 and 43.06.220; creating a new section; prescribing penalties; and declaring an emergency.

What the Bill says:

  • When an emergency is declared it only has a 60 day time frame before it expires unless an action is taken to approve it by the state legislature or to approve it by an affirmative vote of approval in writing by the 4 leaders of the two chambers of the legislature if the legislature is not in session.

  • This bill restores the peoples rights and the separation of powers in our state.
Status: The bill has no hearing scheduled in the State Government & Tribal Relations Committee.
