• This bill creates a new .05 % sales and use tax that will be distributed to cities and counties by the state when collected.

Our Summary Opinion:

• While it is obvious that the local governments are struggling to provide services under the heavy burden of high inflationary costs and Democrats policies it is ridiculous to think that they will stop spending on their future wish lists if we continually give them more tax options. Furthermore each of the dimes comes at a high price for those citizens who are already strapped. This is a bad bill.
