• This bill sets up standards and procedures pertaining to the restoration of the right to own a gun. 

Our Summary Opinion:

• The Supreme Court recently ruled that the right to possess a gun could not be withheld from persons without a narrow window of disqualifiers like the domestic violence act with the use of a weapon. There are many court cases consequently as states have been following the federal government lead on this and now that direction has to change. This bill does an excellent job of constructing a system for that change. We recommend a Pro vote.
