What the Bill says:
- The bill states that No minor can be administered pharmaceutical drugs, hormone therapy drugs or surgery for the purpose of transgendering that minor.
Our Summary Opinion:
- It is protecting the children from making a life altering choice during the uneducated and confused messaging that sometimes occurs for brief moments of their childhood when they are still developing into who they are.
Status: The house bill has not been scheduled for a hearing since it was sent to the Health Care & Wellness Committee on January 13th.
